It’s been a term used for a long time to describe non-white people.

Never heard it termed that way in the first fifty years of my life and i aint all that far into my fifties.

Seems odd to lump everyone into two groups, whites and everyone else.

I think you mean SOMETIMES non-white people bc sometimes it's white Hispanic and sometimes they're POC
