Trying to recall from memory, it was a couple years ago, when I had scattered patches of carpetgrass to control and now that i think more about it, seemed it took a couple weeks or more for carpetgrass to die following Celsius treatment. And just seemed to fade away, but it seemed that even though it took awhile to die it stopped growing.
I did a quick search, and some guys on a lawn forum (lawn maintenance people) confirm it will take 2 to 3 weeks for carpetgrass to die after spraying with Celsius. Here is the link, read down a 1/2 doz posts or more for those comments. LINK Back to that old “be patient” quote. If you’re sure it’s carpetgrass its going to kill it.
