We repowered our 23' Bay Bolt last year. We had a 250 HPDI and went back with an F300. I will say we only went with Yamaha because the dealer matched the price Suzuki quoted us for the same setup, a 300 with fly by wire controls. The original Yamaha quote was over $4K more than the Suzuki quote. Don't skimp and not get mechanical controls, you will love the difference they make. Get a quote for both and see if Yamaha will match, if not go with the suzuki.

How you liking the 300 on the bay bolt. my brother has the same boat with a 250F. is there a noticable cruise speed increase?
