won't b long i'll have to use cheaters to read, but that is just from the natural degradation of the eye, not from the lasik procedure. I don't know anything about lens replacement, but lasik worked for me.

it was $1800 an eye when I did it, but the price has come down. it was still experimental surgery when I had it done.


same here, i did mine in 1993 and it was about the same price.

a bacterial eye infection ate up my eye lens and deformed one of them like a crater so i need contacts to make a round surface, then glasses to correct the vision but only as far as to focus at a specific distance point. then i cant see shite or drive because everything up close is so blurry i cant even guess at the numbers on the speedometer.

this is why i think lens replacement is the only fix for my bad eye
