Both of those base running errors were clearly on the players.

1. How does a college player not get his foot on 2nd base running from 1st to 3rd? That's an unforgivable 10 year old travel ball error, much less at this level.

2. Cain was clearly waving Smith home. Watson flat out didn't look at Cain and held up at 2nd thinking Smith migh hold at 3rd, then went into no man's land once he realized Smith was going home. If Watson is looking at Cain, he knows Smith is going home and easily gets to 3rd.
