Sitting out for 10-12 months and then getting back in is definitely the way to go. I have loads of shite to do and I'm having a good time doing it. Crucible is fun, strikes are fun, raids are fun, it's all fun.
I did the same for D1, picked it up at the taken king. Had a blast.

Yeah seriously. I busted arse to get the blue set for all 3. By the time I started working on those they had one week left and I said screw it, all my dudes are at 750 I'm just waiting for Shadowkeep
