Yes they do and I agree people should take responsibility of their own success (and failure), but they do it in a manner in which they are telling people that if they do not succeed in that company, no one else is to blame. Yet statistically, they telling this to a group in which statistically, 99% of the group will likely not have success in a company.
So they are telling people "hey, join our company. you can have success, but if you don't.. it's because you are a failure". It's feeding vulnerable people bullshite.

That was stating a fact. He endorsed a MLM named ACN. He also sold his name to a MLM that wanted to use the Trump name.. Trump Network. If you are going to do an 11 episode show on MLMs, then because of his involvement in these and several other MLMs, he will be mentioned to some degree.
