The life of a dog is way too short for the impact that they make on our lives.

I am sorry to hear what you are going through. I put my dog down three days ago. It destroys me losing a dog. I've had several dogs in my life and it never gets any easier letting go.

I hope the vet can figure something out that allows you to spend more years with your friend.
