Basketball. It'll be a SLAM DUNK. Can't wait for the season to start.

only for sure loss

I hope you're right. Now I feel tense about Texas, but we'll be in superb shape if we win there. All the other big boys, Florida, Auburn, A&M, come to El Valle de la Muerte.

I mean football's basically a season-long double-elimination tournament. For us there's one loss built-in. Basketball's the easier path.

I think both are top 10 teams, Basketball has the better chance to win the conference but given with how unpredictable the NCAA Tournament can be, I’d say it’s harder for the basketball team to make it rather if the football team only losses once they’re in.

I think both have a low chance but would give slight edge to football.

Football. The only for sure loss on our schedule is Bama. If we go 11-1, and other conferences have a down year, I’d find it hard for them to leave us out. Basketball is just so tough even though we have a good team

You guys are delusional

What was delusional about that post? We should be the favorite in every game except Bama. 11-1 and we are almost certainly in the playoff. I haven't been this confident going into a season in a long time. This team is loaded.

Basketball, Wade has proven his teams can go on long winning streaks and beat the very best teams in the country in any venue. For football there are a few guys Orgeron just can’t seem to beat plus his teams struggle to put away weaker teams as well. It’s not just Bama anymore, Mullen owns him so far and he’s been upset multiple times in all three seasons since taking over.

Why? Gumps think they are unbeatable. They are nothing but excuses about 44-16

I'm sry but no reason for me to trust that football only loses to Bama.. on paper, yes. But we'll lose another dumb game we shouldn't as we lost to UF last year.. dumb

Duke has only been to the final four twice in 15 years .

Clemson/Alabama have made the playoff 4/5 times respectively in 5 years.
