This is the answer. By the Bama game, he had improved somewhat, giving us the only offensive points in 3 years. I distinctly remember wondering why we were running misdirection at the 15.

Personally I think Canada was sold a bill of goods if you will about how talented we were(n’t) at certain positions. But, as a schemer he is excellent, as a play caller, he is average. A great OC knows how to manage a game with his play calling, not just his scheme.
