I think Christopher Lee is #1, and I don't know how many horror movies James Mason did but that silky smooth accent was the perfect contrast to everything else going on in Salem's Lot

Serling and Stack were engaging because of single significant shows (two for Serling if you include Night Gallery, which was just Twilight Zone with the art gallery theme running through it). Their voices were stern and fit well with their shows. No one watching The Untouchables thought of Stack as a frightening narrator or actor.

Actors like Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, and Bela Lugosi were associated with multiple horror films and franchises.
