Everyone disagrees with me but I will always believe that “The Box” should have been renovated. Could have been done over several seasons. One off season refurbish or tear down and rebuild the grand stand one year the the next rip out all bleachers and build a permanent structure with chair back seats the next. The box was tore down for 2 reasons. Skip wanted a new stadium for his legacy and others wanted the land it sat on

There wasn’t enough room to add all the player amenities that they wanted to add where the old box was located. People can complain about how the new stadium from the fan perspective isn’t the best but the player amenities is probably the best in the country now. That’s more important these days to get recruits than anything. They should upgrade the fan experience as well but I understand the thinking to take care of the players first.
