Straight out of Gov Edwards and the Progressives playbook. Scare tactics.

Don’t whine to me. Tell me how you are going to maintain vital governmental functions in the face of budget cuts by trimming unnecessary and bloated programs. That’s what a leader would do.

Murphy Paul is going to be the last man in BRPD. Everyone else with the ability to lateral will flee at greater rates than we're seeing now. She can say she will protect their budgets, but they're already underpaid and use outdated equipment. This will just put them further behind the rest of the departments in the area.

EBRSO is dishing out raises to their employees and they don't have to work for Broome. I can see a few changing departments if they can get over the lack of civil service.
