So if lsu does not beat a more talented team with a Hof coach, that proves O reached his ceiling?

If he can't win 11 or more games this season he never will.

What I said was pretty self explanatory.

He doesn’t have to beat them to go 11-1 and finish in the top 5 before bowl selection to be in prime position for a CFP slot.

That is a very reasonable and achievable goal to show he can raise the program to the elite level of his predecessors.

If we drop another game we shouldn’t like we have for three straight years under O then yes I think it’s reasonable to believe his ceiling is somewhere below the CFP.

This team has everything a staff could need to succeed at that highest level, including veteran leadership on both sides of the ball, the highest paid assistant in all of college football that he inherited from the previous coach, a remarkably well set up schedule, not to mention a quality experienced starting quarterback that was developed by the best in the business.

If not now, when??
