Expect even more Thrive Plus/Cheers ads.

You’ve probably seen them on Shark Tank.

illegal money laundering

The magic words. No clue about the poker room and the ongoings, however, money laundering is almost meaningless now a days in the way it's added on to cases.

Homeboy hadn’t paid his taxes in eight years.

Optimal Tax Relief jingle >>>> Thrive Plus/Cheers jingle

Except Charlie Pallilo, that guy hasnt had an original take in ever

Wrong. Charlie Pallilo is easily the best sports commentator in Houston. Not much personality, but blows everyone out of the water with spot on analysis.

Analysis does not equal best. I'd rather listen to PBS while staring at a blank wall than listen to Pallilo.

I despise the fact they put him on the timeslot he's in with no co-host and rare guests. Dude is a great analyst but is an absolute bore to listen to. Puts me to sleep almost every time I have to take lunch in the truck.

One of the guys in my Houston fantasy football league told me during our draft (Aug18) that he had been playing at a spot on Richmond Ave. He was sitting next to Adrian Peterson at the time shortly before he signed) and let him borrow some of his dip.

Not sure if accurate, but he told me that the rules were the house couldn't make any money on games (in Houston). They would rent out 'seats' for about $20/hour and apparently often had numerous tables going at the same time.

I'm a small fish and play $1/3 at Harrahs, but I would love to be a fly on the wall for some of these upscale games. The action on the $5/10 NLHE table at Harrahs is fun to watch when they have it going.

kind of dead. nugget still usually fills up. lauberge used to have 8 rooms packed Fri/Sat and some Thursdays but had to cut the room to 5 and doesn't always fill that up.

There’s always about 3 times the amount of tables going at the coushatta than there is at LB or GN. There’s an app that will tell you how many tables are going at any given casino at any given time.

Its called Bravo Poker Live. Shows all the games going and what the limits are. I use it a lot to check and see how the action is in Nola.

The Texas politicians need to get off the casino take and at least pass legal poker rooms. I know Windstar pumps a ton of money to lobby against making poker legal in Texas.

Agreed. Galveston would've been rolling had they allowed it. Instead, they just increased the property taxes like crazy to fund their pet projects.

Vegas probably dropped a dime on them. They're not fond of any competition for high roller action.
