No, it should be fine given the amount of shade cooling things off. It will stay green through the winter as well when others are dormant.

Aeration is good for any lawn type. Fescue doesn't spread like Bermuda, Zoysia, or St Aug so you will have to seed if you have bare spots or if it thins out.
