I love this argument the libs like to toss out there - Trump, Bush didn't win the popular vote, but won the WH. Well, no shite, butt chugger. They played the game by the rules in place. They knew what they needed to do to win the WH and that was their strategy. It's like bitching about losing the Super Bowl when you had more total yards of offense. Well, that's not the way the winner is decided, if it was, the teams would have used a completely different strategy. So, the results of past elections are a meaningless guide for future ones, because the rules AND the strategies would change at the same time. Nobody can say that HotRod would have won in 2016 if the popular vote was the yardstick, because those weren't the rules Trump was measuring his campaign against. Trump didn't win the election because of a flaw in the rules, he won because he knew best how to use the rules in place to his advantage. A superior strategy will win every time, regardless of the rules.

the popular vote

This phrase gets under my skin every time I hear it uttered. There is no national popular vote, period. There are 50 individual states and each state determines its delegate vote by a popular vote within its borders. The vote totals they are using to claim Trump didn’t win the popular vote is bullshite. He didn’t win the popular vote blah blah blah.. ummm yes the frick he did. He won 30 popular votes while that dreadful bitch only won 20.

That sums it up and shows how dumb tbe prof filth really is. I don’t know why this isn’t the immediate reponse every time the popular vote argument is brought up.

Bush didn't win the popular vote,

Bush won the popular vote in 2004.

HW won the popular vote in 1988.

Reagan won the popular vote in 1980 & 1984.

The belief that Republicans are not able to win the popular vote is just another symptom of TDS and an example of recency bias.

If the economy is doing well, Trump campaigns in CA, and the votes are not tampered/fraudulent he could win the popular vote in 2020.
