Yes but if I am a firefighter a city with lots of old architecture, that just happens to be a major source of income for my city, I have a plan to deal with such an event... this fire has been burning seven or eight hours, they look woefully unprepared

I had no idea there was so much wood in the construction of that cathedral - given that fact, there should have been provisions for attacking any fire immediately.
Hell, the river is all around the place - why no pumps on hand to begin pouring river water immediately??
