I mentioned my boiling one of those already seasoned corn beefs from a packet that they sell in stores. I'll remove what liquid I need from the big pot and boil it on a stove or over the burner in an appropriate sized pot.
They come out so good.

I don’t think it was me, but after the boil, I throw a butt in for like 30 min, and soak for 45.
It’s absolutely fantastic.
