As a matter of fact, I would hazard to say that the vast majority of football players (probably basketball players too) at LSU are Democrats as well.

Should this matter? It doesn't to me.

I like Coach O. I think he’s got the program going in the right direction.

He can support whoever he wants for governor. Obviously he and JBE are tight.

That doesn’t stop me from believing JBE has been a mediocre at best Governor for Louisiana- one whose policies will be bad for the state, in the long run. Or than his political party is being overtaken by overtly socialist newcomers in DC (they’re no longer trying to hide it)- which is SURELY bad for the entire country.

This is the real reason. Think about who they recruit. Not many players are going to come play for a republican. Most coaches want to be successful in their jobs so they do what they gotta do. Doesn't mean they vote that way...
