It matters bc O got and will keep the job simply by politicking. Not by his actual resume or performance.

Total BS. No one is going to stand for the program descending into crap. In two full years as head coach he is 19-7, a .730 winning percentage with the potential for a huge year in 2019.
I don't care about his politics. I care about him winning games. That's the barometer. Miles' connections gave him a reprieve when he should have been canned in 2015, but it caught up with him. You can't outrun your performance.

In the grand scheme of things, of course it doesn't matter. It just speaks to the type of person O is. He's a good ole boy through and through.
