I've often wondered how a WBB coach would do on the men's side. Say Auremino (from UCONN) or Bill Laimbeer. I think Mulley would do great and there may even be pressure to forego any sanctions.

I don’t have a crystal ball, but the media coverage and the ground breaking move COULD put LSU in the national spotlight in a positive way. Kim is a brilliant and hard arse coach that MIGHT be able to get 7 great or very good players and compete at a championship level just like men coaches do in women’s BB - think Connecticut.

She was probably joking, but if Wade is done at LSU. I think she would be the best available coach. I hope it happens.

Honestly, if Wade is found guilty of something and we're forced to let him go (which I can't emphasize enough that I don't want to happen), I think this would be a really cool hire. In terms of national media, we'd instantly start getting good attention instead of the negative light that a bad result from Wade's investigation would certainly put on the program. I mean, she is a hell of a women's coach, which I know doesn't even come close to comparing to the men's game, but still. With all the sanctions that I would assume the NCAA would drop on us, there would be few coaches that would be as motivated to jump into this position as much as she would.

I don't. frick her for putting that out there when there isn't even an opening at LSU.

She can take her self promotion at LSU's expense and shove it.

I could see Alleva SJW arse hiring her

If Wade is out I don't care who they hire. As long as F King and Alleva are associated with LSU my wallet is closed.

What a crappy article. Hardly worth the time spent to read it.

Kim is an outstanding coach. She would bring us a natty in a heartbeat. The only problem is LSU is too cheap to hire her.

I grew up with Kim and have known her and her family my entire life. Tell your dad, she's "not a meany" LOL.
She is a fricking fierce competitor and a winner. The 4 years she played at Hammond High School, they won every game.

Ask your Dad how many games Tech lost from 1980-1984 when she was playing. We all are aware of her coaching record.

And as far a recruiting, she is known and respected across the world as a winner. She is the female version of Saban.

It's going to be weird to hear all the broadcasters for the LSU basketball games talk about, "Did you know Kim Mulkeys son played for the LSU baseball team and was the biggest baby ever born in Texas?"

She doesn’t have to cheat in women’s b ball because there is no money in it. Totally different game when it comes to men.

YOU think it’s correct. I do not. We disagree. We see the world through two completely different lenses. That’s fine.
