Reuben Mays
It’s “Mayes”, not Mays.

Recently voted the #1 Alltime Football player from Washington State.

He had the NCAA D-1 record rushing game in ‘84 @ WSU vs Oregon, 357 yards. (Record eventually broken in ‘12)

Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, 3rd Round choice of the Saints (by GM Jim Finks) in the ‘86 Draft.

He rushed for over 1,300 yards his rookie season and over 900 yards his second season.

He was very productive into his first three NFL seasons, injuries eventually got him traded to Seattle.

Mayes had a knack at beating the defense to the sideline and turning the corner even when they knew the pitch to the right was coming.
