Chatted with Paul Mainieri. Saul Garza is fine, in case you were wondering. Paul giving Drew Bianco a chance at DH.
Garza has been catching a lot on the side. Plan is for him to catch some Wednesday against Nichols.
Brock Mathis dropped down to ninth
*Changed Saturday
Drew Bianco stays in the lineup at DH, bumped up to sixth against the LHP

Bianco has been dogshit thus far. Hopefully he gets it going this weekend. We need a strong bat in the lineup but he has to work on his pitch recognition

I like this lineup, but I wish a RH or 2 could step up to split some of the lefties up. Or, maybe you slip Watson back a spot or 2. I just don't like that many lefties in a row. I'm sure it's not ideal for CPM either.

Any idea on when we’re getting started?

Does the radio coverage give any idea on the delay? I guess ESPN won’t get the SECN+ coverage until we’re actually starting

It's raining in Nola, similar to what it looks like on radar. It's not horrible. I'd imagine it's getting pretty damn mushy, though...and, really aggravating, in general, but very much so to run and throw.

Anyplace to watch online? Doesn’t appear to be on ESPN

Good evening folks. Haven’t been around a game thread for a while but I’m always down for a rain delayed, heavy drinking, over react to everything SEC series opener. I’ll just park here for a while.

Sheesh. I hate doubleheader, particularly in conference games, but...I want the Tigers to win!

Dam*! No matter how far I get away from that rainy a*s place, dam* swamp, it still haunts me. I wanna tune in to my ball after a long day, and low and behold its rained out. Every event in Louisiana needs to be indoor, hell all the Gulf States.
