Why doesn’t someone file a freedom of information act for all LSU emails between the board of supervisors, LSU admin and joe Alleva. I mean I feel like we could get to the bottom of all this in 48 hours.

They would claim they can’t release anything because it’s related to an “ongoing investigation.” It’s bullshite but that’s what they’ll say.

It's a state agency so FOIA Laws won't apply but it is considered a Public Records Request.
LSU Public Records Request

You can ask for the records there.

Then the entire BOS and Alleva should be suspended until they agree to release the info...that's how it goes right?

LSU isn't under FOIA, it's state. You use a public records request.

So the public records request has to go through...wait for it...F. King Alexander.

quote:

PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST

To submit a public records request to LSU, please address requests to LSU President F. King Alexander.
Requests can be emailed to drichards@lsu.eduor mailed to:
LSU President F. King Alexander
3810 W. Lakeshore Dr.
Baton Rouge, LA 70808

What a joke.

Actually it’s a public records request. Not a foia

Still has a lot of the same rules and protections of a foia.

All agency heads are the addressee for PRRs. He isnt the one who handles them. I handled PRR for a state agency at one point this is how I know about this.

So if we requested all emails concerning suspension of will wade and the LSU basketball program made by f king, Joe Alleva and any bos. Would that information be given.

Obviously, I can't give an answer. LSU's attorneys will be the ones making that decision and they will be doing everything they can to deny the request because of the story's high visibility.

Best advice would to be as narrow as possible when it comes to time frame. If you go with a large timeframe they could easily say the request is overly burdensome.

Yes he is, so submitting a public records request for the past two weeks on any email from Joe Alleva, f king alexander, and all BOS members concerning will wade and meeting with LSU staff would be a pretty good place to start.
