He's the best coach we've had in decades.
If he got great players illegally maybe he's just got a great team that an above average coach could have success with.

Johnny Jones had Ben Simmons and couldn't even make the tournament.
Jarrel Martin, Jordan Mickey, Johnny O'Bryan, seems like we've had at least a few guys get drafted during the lean years.
Hell, even Dale Brown couldn't really coach offense as good as Wade does.
