First off, it absolutely IS disrespectful.
And it has NOTHING to do with free speech. The First Amendment only protects against the GOVERNMENT limiting free speech rights. Employers can limit their employees free speech all day long. And they should, because most places of business don't want to become filled with protest about every political/religious/social issue -- they're a business. Now if Fournette wants to protest on his own time, I have no problem with that.
But not on the job.
