Has LSU even learned about the forward pass yet...

Don't want to play another UGA.

Considering Texas's pass defense would have be the second worse FBS pass defense we played last year (literally one spot above Ole Miss), I believe we would fare pretty well. Keep in mind LSU had an OC who hasn't coached his own offense in 20 years, coach an experimental offense with;

- a first time starting QB
- first time starting RB
- several first time starting, and hell even playing in college, WRs
- an OL who was not only brand new, but had a new OL coach and had to go through no less than 5 different starting units thoughout the year because of multiple injuries

Fact of the matter is that outside of TE, FB and a couple OL, There wasn't a guy on our two deep offensively that was higher than a 3rd string player prior to 2018. Even our starting QB fell from backup to 3rd string at Ohio St.

I'm not saying I expect an offensive explosion, but I do expect LSU to get better based purely on actually having experience everywhere and bringing in, what I believe, are 2 of the 5 best RBs in the 2018 class.

You forget who tore UGA up FAR worse than Texas did. A motivated UGA team with all their studs playing too. Texas football fans are way to hyped right now after that sugar bowl. Certainly a great game for them, but lsu scored 36 on the same defense, except UGA had deandre baker for the lsu game, who is ATLEAST top 3 best corners in the country. And all y'all wanna talk about is how bad lsu's offense is, but when you score less against the same defense, how does that work? Or is it just that you think Texas has a great offense because you get to play the oklahoma defenses of the world week in and week out? One more stat. In 2018, lsu averaged 32.5 pts per game (against better defenses), Texas averaged 31.1 .
