Been hearing these Longhorn fans say they are looking forward to doing the same thing to our Football Team in September that they're doing to our Baseball team. I told them tread lightly, two different sports!

I would trade losing tomorrow and getting swept by Texas in baseball for a win over Texas in football this fall.

They dont know what's coming in fb.

They dont realize thier defense returns only three starters. The lose a significant amount of experience, while Lsu Fb has a ton.

Why do y’all get so arse hurt when an opponent talks a little? It’s all in fun.

Y’all like to run your mouthes but can’t take it when we get beat

Football is a totally different kennel of fish. I think Coach Oeaux will have the Tigers ready when they enter into Austin the first week of September.

I'm actually more concerned about Georgia Southern in Week 1. Now THAT could be a sticky wicket.

I kept seeing a lot of these comments on the youtube stream as well. I didn't even give them a reply, because for one it's baseball season, and two the matchup in Austin in September won't even be a game. They lost so much on defense, they will be lucky if we don't hang 40 on them. If Burrow gets any considerable amount of time in the pocket, with the time he has to develop chemistry (we saw this coming together during the back half of the season) and what will be a very strong running game, he may throw for 5 TDs.

Ehlinger will not be able to take over this game. All those suspensions and injuries at the tail end of last year gave our guys time in and they are fricking hungry. Stevens, jacobs, diviniy, delpit, fulton are all looking for Ehlinger to run. If he gets past the D-Line it will not be good news for UT.

I was a bit worried about Miami because I didn't know what to expect, but I am not even really thinking about this game because it will be a runaway victory. Probably 41-10.

Sorry to get off topic, but you know what I laugh at this year. It's not the Texas overhype (it's beyond stupid that the media thinke Texas's defense is going to be ready for LSU in week two), no it's the Texas A&M hype. Not only does TAMU not have a RB worth a flip, their defensive front 7 was shredded (that top 5 rush defense is now gone), and their pass defense was arse last year. Not only that, they play @ LSU, @ Clemson, and @ UGA, and also face Bama. Those 4 teams will finish in the top 10. I saw a guy put TAMU instead of LSU in his 10 teams he thinks could get to the playoffs because he thinks LSU has to break in a lot of young guys on defense. That was so beyond stupid that I just had to laugh.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say LSU goes 11-1. If we go 10-2 we were upset by UF at home
