How does the food network consistently fail at cooking food? It's like the network is run by a broke college student who tried to cook for the first time.

"I've seen jambalaya before. I can do that.

1 cup rice = check
wet sausage = check
something that looks like bacon = check
vegetables = check

Directions:
Mix rice and vegetables together in serving bowl. Pour ketchup over sausage and bacon. Voila! Jambalaya

Well, they could start by going to back to having actual chef's showing you how to cook dishes instead of washed up 90's country music singers. When you turn on that channel these days there's a 90% chance you'll some lame contest with average cooks doing stupid shite with kale and watermelon. Right now the entire day's programming is episode after episode of Beat Bobb Flay and Chopped.

Makes me second guess even some of the well known chefs across the networks when they make local cuisine.

They constantly butcher LA food. Who is to say they aren't butchering every other 'local' dish they're showing us
