I said it in another thread and I'll say it in this one to, my main issue with Hess is his consistency. He was bad last night, but I could see him coming out and shutting down Bryant and Texas the next two weekends, only to come out and allow Cal to hit him all over the park.

You can go back to those games he started as a Freshman, he was very inconsistent. Games of 6 innings 0 runs, 1 walk, 7 strike outs, then the next week he goes 4 innings gives up 5 runs 6 walks and 3 strike outs. We are running up on 3 seasons of data saying he isn't a starter.
