Direct sales or MLM folks that are focused on sales - fine by me.

my wife does something like this. she quit her job as a psychologist to do it full time and clears 6 figures doing it

An extremely rare example.

Exactly. That’s why it’s multi level. A very small % of people do well.. but the numbers don’t lie. Most don’t do well, and many even lose money.

I also just have zero tolerance for targeting friends and family. Of course this is the OT so go figure the three people whose wives do it don’t sell to family/friends. But whatever, many still do.

You should see some of the screenshots of these psychos telling people with loved ones dying of cancer to rub some oils on them to cure them. Or telling people looking for legitimate medical advice regarding skincare.. to buy their $300 Rodan + Fields, which many dermatologists do not back.

To be fair, even non MLM direct sales rubs me the wrong way.. all the way down the chain. I need a mattress and have done everything I can to avoid going into a store and dealing with pushy sales people. I’d like to say I respect the hustle, but I just feel very uncomfortable when someone won’t go away.

it is rare, becuase it still actually requires being a good sales person and working your arse off. most people think they can just sign up for it and get free money
