ok... i did everything and:
1)the nighthawk device says "Mobile Broadband Disconnected"
2)the attwifimanager site doesnt open or seem to exist and
3) my credit card company sent me a fraud alert confirming that i was using my card for this...

Don't know about number 1.
Answer to number 2: instead of typing attwifimanager in your browser, try typing in 192.168.1.1 - and whatever your browser is on has to be connected to the negear nighthawk.
Number 3: Did the credit card company allow the charge? If they didn't, it might explain number 1?
I went through the eBay guy and didn't have any problems except the non-existent attwifimanager.
