There were numerous slavering, drooling apologist dunces on this board who tried to justify last year's home embarrassment to Bama by arguing it was Saban's greatest team ever and was effectively invincible.

Then Clemson sodomized them.

Bama loses every year. We just can't best them because our offensive coaches (including the illustrious head coach) aren't very smart or creative. End of story.

But they are dead on . Saban is king until he quits or is talking to St. Peter and St. Paul

Which no one denies, still Auburn has beaten them 3 times since the run started. To simply shrug and keep saying they are on an historic run if the definition of surrender mentality.

I think that's why they're such hardcore O sycophants. He provides a crutch for their Alabama inferiority complex.

They out-recruit everyone. Doesn't mean we can't compete and beat them.

Haven’t done so the last eight times and the latest attempt showed the coaches are petrified on offense to try anything that would remotely work.

Maybe Ensminger was playing rope a dope last year to really stick it to em this year, right?

O should not be losing in state defensive linemen. It’s one of the main reasons he was hired.

Will finish 5th, and you will still bitch about it.

Should finish 5/6, great class but had some major misses a long the DL.

Miles whiffed the last few years on NEED but still had high rankings bc of the skill positions.

I think we will be alright. Bama was thin on D line and probably added a few accessories to the Chargers..

Will finish behind 3 other schools in our conference. Louisiana had a historic class in state this year and we still couldn't finish in the top 3.

I dont think we will see top 1-3 classes like we used to.

Thank God O got that last second extension to rally a great close to the class.... Myth exposed. Something else Charlie and Jimmy where swearing by.

Hannigrif has repeatedly said how ridiculous the idea that “coaches need 4-5 years on their contract or they can’t recruit” is.

He had some good classes and got a big boost bc of high rated skill players.

Do I think there was NO talent, absolutely not.

I'm saying the quality depth was lacking on the last few recruiting classes and with CEO whiffing this year, that trend will continue.

I respect your opinion. It was definitely a step down from the lines we had 2010-2013
