We will clearly be the better team on paper.
Anyone saying Texas wins big isn't being logical.
Can Texas win? Yes absolutely. Is it a certainty? Nowhere close. Can Texas win in a blowout? Possible, but highly unlikely.

If you look at composite talent from 2018, LSU and Texas are virtually neck and neck. LINK
As far as talent ratings go, the teams are very close. LSU will have the edge in experience, particularly on defense.
Of course, talent ratings don't factor in intangibles.
