It seems like you think children should be taught “to get theirs and frick everyone else.”

In it's simplest form, I believe that is what Children should be taught. To be able to survive, you have to be able to take care of yourself, be productive, and useful to society. You can't worry about what other people are doing short term, you have to do you, and get yours. To Survive. Eye of the Tiger....lol

Also along the way, you teach your kids to be respectful, have manners, value the good things you value. Basically the ten commandments. Which you can argue religion blah blah, but the ten commandments are a building block for being a decent human. Whether you are plane jane atheist or devout (enter religion here). Then you hope and pray that all the good things you've taught your kids, is practiced, applied, and they learn to pass it on to others, and their children. That's how you build a society that values good. But it's 50/50, it either pays forward, halfway or not at all. It all ends up on the shoulder of the individual to make choices.

Yep. Focus on you and yours. Help others if you can, but always place yourself and your family first. Don’t do bad to others, don’t steal, don’t kill, etc. but defend your family and your property with ferocity.

Do everything in your power to give your kids a life that is better and easier than your own.

But apparently I’m a miserable and cold person
