Do you care about the plight of the random person in a village on the other side of the world? Of course not. That person has no impact on you.

Nope. I believe in an extremely limited federal govt and an extremely powerful st govt. what works in California doesn’t work in Mississippi. What works in Alabama doesn’t work in Alaska. What works in Florida doesn’t work in New York. Return the power to the states. The only thing the feds should have any power over is foreign policy, national defense, and making sure states adhere to the constitution.
