Pre steroids bonds was a HOFer already
Steroid bonds was hitting against steroid pitching.
Even before the steroid era, every MLBer was taking speed before every game but I don’t see them shunned

Those years of following his at bats was scary exciting as a kid. Kobe and Bonds were the first two players that would make me lose myself while watching a game and find frustration from them succeeding. Looking back on it, such awe in Bond's talent.
