I'm sure he knew, and I'd have gone out the same way, if I ever get cancer or some other terminal illness I won't go through treatment, I'll just live out the remaining time doing what I want to do

That’s what my mom did. She had already buried two husbands because of cancer. She just said f it and went on with her life. Made it 6 months. No pain, just gradually faded away.
