Robiskie quit on LSU in a game against Texas A&M when the game was played in Tiger Stadium. I don't think he should be added to the coaching staff. He will create division within the team.

Too young IMHO. Would Doug Moreau be interested? He was one of the greats back when I wore a younger man's clothes.

Robiskie would be a slam dunk hire. He's already set with NFL pension and coming to LSU for 2 years max would be a great way to end his career.

Robiskie has zero coaching ever in college, not sure how you call that a slam dunk. He would bring zero recruiting value.

We need to get away from the guys who are on their way out in their careers.

I don't remember Robiskie ever being an interim HC at LSU. what I do remember is that he had bad comments regarding LSU on more than one occasion and I got the impression (rightly or wrongly) that he was pretty bitter at LSU or what he considered a slight. it just seems to me that he would not be a good fit right now as a WR coach. if someone is in the know, please set me straight if i'm incorrect.

But replace his name with Kevin Faulk & you would be burned at the stake for saying that

Faulk spent his last year here basically helping with recruiting though.

But hasn’t recruited & surely has never coached past the HS level.

Robiskie has coached for nearly 40 years.

Think about that

he's a good coach and a good man, we were casual friends at LSU, not quite sure how he would fit in the recruiting game, but without a doubt could help as a coach

So once again hiring an old NFL coach on his way out into retirement. Because that worked out so well this year.

I like Robiskie but I'd be interested to see how the board would react to hiring a 64 year old

That blows my mind Robiskie is 64 years old now. However, he did pre-date Charles Alexander.
