Kind of a bummer that I’d have to get 3 of the Fire cubes at $120/unit,
Sorry, I didn't realize that Amazon discontinued the "dongle" version of the box and replaced it with the Fire Stick 4K. I haven't used the Fire Stick 4K and it does have a little less RAM than the dongle, but it might be all that you need on your 4K TVs. You should probably get one and give it a shot as a primary streaming device.
Regarding the Fire Cube. The Fire Cube is a Fire TV + an Echo Dot + an IR Blaster for controlling devices that use IR based remotes. It may be more than you need for your TVs, especially if the 4K Stick works out. Another quirk is that in order to make sure the integrated Echo device hears your commands, it will pause the TV when you tell it something. I personally would find that annoying and like my set up of having the Fire TV and Echo as separate devices.
Also, if you're willing/able to wait, every 2-3 months Amazon puts their devices on sale so you can pick them up 20%-40% off.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, $50 per TV is easier to cope with. In terms of voice control, I’m pretty ok not having that. Honestly, I’d rather my kids not have the ability to change the channel that easily. Without it, I can just hide the remotes if need be.
When you say less RAM, does that mean the streams could be glitchy/have issues loading?
