That’s exactly what prompted me to go back and listen to a bunch of his old stuff too. I wanted to add some stuff to my catalog and went to ITunes and types in his name to see if there was some stuff that I wasn’t aware that he did. That was the first song that I saw and was like “wtf?” I have heard that song all my life (49 years old) and never knew that was him. That 1st album with that all star cast of musicians was really good. A whole different sound than what he did a decade later. I do like the sound of “Every Kind of People” though. But the stuff he did that really made him a temporary pop icon was like night and day from his 1st two albums.
