Been two times. Last time was several years ago too. Caught an 11.6 and a 10.5 the last trip. Also caught a couple of 8s. One of the guys that went with us caught a 12.7. All four of us caught at least one over 8. Lost count of the 7 pounders. Used mainly white super flukes dipped in garlic chartreuse dip not weighted. Went both times in February March in the middle of their first spawn and a full moon. Had a blast.

Sounds like my first trip there. I caught several 6s and 7s with a couple 8s and the one 9.6.

They should be in pre spawn mode. Hopefully they are ready to eat. Monsoon season has come and gone, and the lake is at a normal pool for this time of year. Couple that with the cooler nights, the bait fish should be moving shallower.

My big ones came on a 10" worm that year.

I'll be working a senko and slow sinking swimbait in the AM, and switch to a worm and deep diving crankbait in the PM.

Anglers Inn already landed a 10lb a couple weeks ago with some 6-9 lb bass mixed in.
