I'm so sick of idiots like this on this site who will never have the opportunity to make dozens of millions of dollars all at once saying "Maybe money isn't everything to him?!?!" Yea, say that again with someone dangling a briefcase of millions in front of you, with the only exception being come get it now, and don't risk an entire year of injury.
Why did Clemsons projected first rounders return? Were their fans calling them out and saying how dumb it was?
We aren’t that type of athlete. Not exactly a fair comparison. Also, can he get some sort of insurance policy like Fournette? If I’m that talented and legacy does matter to me.. I explore all options. If I can get an insurance policy that is basically banking on me going pro, but will compensate me accordingly, that would definitely peak my interest. However, I don’t know the rules or if they have changed..
A couple of articles
Guy gets hurt in bowl game but is insured I think?
Fournette’s insurance article
Again, I probably consider coming back depending upon if I can get a policy worth it. I’m going to have a degree, people will line up to want to hire me, and I’ll get to be a rockstar on campus one more year. All the while being insured for that worst case scenario.
I just don’t agree with people telling him he absolutely should do one thing or the other.. It is what he wants to do. I respect him either way.

Are you an Alabama fan
Good question for a lot of folks here. NOT SAYING THAT THIS IS TRUE FOR WHO YOU ARE POSTING THIS QUESTION TO OR ANY ONE ON THIS THREAD. But the REC and the shadow staff at Bama pay students or just regular nobodies to troll LSU boards and other fan MBs. And of course gumpneck subhuman M''F..s do it on their own since they have no life and it fits their severely cock roach level mentality (if the animals have one). Ukrainian and Indian bots can be hired too for cheap per data rate. I know these things because I do and so do others:).

I’m pretty sure I just heard him say he’s wearing #7 next year.
That would be great!

Been told by whom?
Guess it’s easier to downvote instead of answering questions.

He'll have an insurance policy that will pay him many millions if he does get injured.

Top 3 overall prospects? No.
Devin White isn't a top 3 overall prospect.
Sounds to me like you're the one who doesn't know jackshit.

Mike Doss came back for his senior season and won a national title with Ohio State even though he was widely expected to declare.

*17, and do you have a problem with my age? The typical “I’m older than you, so I’m better than you and can talk down to you!!!” I seem to be more mature and intelligent than you anyway.

Are you an Alabama fan, or LSU fan? Just wondering because you seem to be dicking on the program that you “love so much” and dick riding another.
Dick riding Bama against LSU would have made you a lot of money lately.
Bama fricking OWNS us. That has nothing to do with fandom.

Peyton Manning and Tim Duncan came back. Both would have been #1 pick after their junior year. Why? Peyton said, “college is fun!”
Shaw said the best years of his life were between 1989-1992 in Baton Rouge. He was not rich then. Money is not everything.

It's not about "taking pride" in being a Tiger vs. being "money hungry", children.
It's about making responsible decisions about his career in football.
Devin has nothing left to prove to the LSU faithful about his commitment to the program. He proved that when he turned down Saban's offer to a RB for Bama and came to LSU to pay at LB, b/c that's where we needed him. He's proved it on the field and off every day since then, He's proving it at the Fiesta Bowl. Devin doesn't owe us anything at this point, but he's still loyal. I hope he makes a decision that rewards his dedication and loyalty to us.
