If his knees are as bad as they have been reported...bad enough to justify him making a decision, His chances of making a team are very very low.

So the question is: Does a small chance of becoming a prOfessional player outweigh playing one more year with your teammates...along with whatever residual chances he would have next year.

It’s hard to logically justify this decision. It’s 100x more likely that he’s being fed info from people who don’t know what they are talking about and he’s not wise enough to realize it.

Having said that, he really seems like a good kid. I hope his knees are not as bad as reported and he’s drafted and makes a team. I’ll be pulling for him.
