I haven't listened yet (maybe will tomorrow), but Bishop Barron is absolutely NOT a liberal nut.
ETA: I'm not a fan at ALL of the National Catholic Reporter (not to be confused with the National Catholic Register, which I do like), but this explains a little more about what progressive-minded Catholics think of Bishop Barron.
