WiFi speeds fluctuate due to interference from other wireless devices. Ethernet cables are pretty much consistent if your network is configured properly.

Ran some test this morning at home and I’m left puzzled

Test Roku Ultra and Firestick through Netflix speed test

Modem and Router in my bedroom. Router is a Netgear Nighthawk, 5G WiFi network

Test in bedroom:
Firestick via WiFi was pulling 95-100mbps
RoKu via WiFi was pulling 15-17 mbps
Roku via Ethernet was pulling same damn mbps of 15-17

Same Ethernet cable I connected to my computer and did speed test through Spectrum site
150-155mbps speed
WiFi speed was near 100mbps

So that tells me that it wasn’t Ethernet cable

Had no issue with Roku streaming (picture) but puzzled that the speeds are so much slower but also regardless of WiFi or Ethernet, speed was the same

Thoughts?
