Is there a second trilogy after this or is it something completely different? Didn’t want to Google for fear of spoilers.
Like Hogfly said, there is a second trilogy - The Age of Madness - which has the world of First Law moving into a sort of industrial revolution.
But, there are three stand alone books also - Best Served Cold, The Heroes, and Red Country. I highly suggest that you read these stand alone books before moving on to the second trilogy. There are characters in the second trilogy who are introduced in the stand alone books.

Cool thanks guys. Gonna finish stormlight reread then will take y’all’s advice. Like his style and after going from super dense Malazan last year this is a much easier read.
