And add to that he makes his announcement the same time we get the bowl bid and doesn't even bother to tell O about it. O finds out from a reporter in an interview. SMH.

Yes they did. He simply said they scored we didn’t. It’s a sensitive subject for LSU fans. Maybe we should grow thicker skin.

Extremely tough job defensively to continue to trot out there, one 3 and out after another from your offense, and continue to make stops even against average offenses. Holding a Heisman finalist led offense for as long as they did was impressive. Offense didn't help the defense out at all by extending drives with any consistency.

He said what he said. He’s not even out the door (and probably will be training at LSU as well as have a Pro Day), and he is bashing (if that is how you want to interpret his comment) the offense. Not a good look

Exactly. He needs to keep his trap shut until he's out the door. Bad enough he's not playing in the bowl.

Thing is, unless you played flawlessly, you should worry about what you can do to help. Talking crap about your offense doesn't help. You can't speak about he defensive players being out and leave out the oline and TE injuries.

For the record, I think the offense is absolute shite (has been for years), but I don't agree with the way Greedy handled the question and I think the defense has some room for improvement as well.

What the hell will y'all say or do if LSU scores 40 plus a game next year???

You morons have no idea what y'all are talking about. No offense yet we scored 30 plus on Georgia.

Lots of LSUs strength and depth was lost this offseason and we still went 9-3 with 2 close loses. Our fanbase is the worst in the country by a good margin.

The offense was inconsistent.

I seriously doubt that's gonna happen.

Upsets happen all the time. LSU played it's best game of the season that day. Georgia played one of it's worst games of the season on the same day.

I don't think it's anything to put any stock into. Kinda like Purdue (6-6) beating Ohio State (12-1), Akron (4-8) beating Northwestern (8-5) or Maryland (5-7) beating Texas (9-4). Or let's not forget, Troy beating LSU last year.

shite happens. And shite happened to Georgia on October 13th this year. Nothing more, nothing less.

You should do the same. Maybe if the offense could move the ball and take time off the clock, Bama wouldn't have had the ball as much. Also, if our offense was average, we would be in the 4 team playoff as we speak. We beat UF and aTm.

I just don't get how some fans are more upset about Greedy saying the offense can't score, than they are with the offense actually not being able to score. It's not a secret at how bad our offense is. It gets mentioned everyday on ESPN, or at least whenever LSU is brought up. We have a shite show for an offense. Some fans defended Miles and his offense as well, right up until the day he was fired. Seems nothing has changed.

Don't need to see, read, think about any of Greedy's comments. He's abandoned the team and I couldn't care less what he has to say.

How hard is it to interpret ZERO fricking points?

Jesus, this is why we are stuck with this shite.

Ed Orgeron quit LSU. Guess that's where Greedy got it from.

I didn't take it as shitting on the coaches and teammate

All he said was LSU couldn't score points. Its a fact and he is 100% right.

Now if he went on record calling the O line trash or E trash that be a bit different.

he should have said if our receivers could catch a pass then maybe we could have scored more points.
Actually a recently posted graphic on tRant had LSU slightly below SEC avg in % of dropped passes.
Carry on bashing players though.

There was nothing about what he said that can be considering throwing his team under the bus. He's telling the truth.

Typically, when people "throw someone under the bus" they are telling the truth. It just depends on who said it and what they said that will cause our fans to be upset or not upset. In this situation, our fans have been melting about the offense for years. So any time someone says something bad about the offense, it's fair game, unless it's someone on the coaching staff they don't like said it.

Switch gears, if Paul Mainieri (a very successful coach mind you) says anything even remotely critical of anyone on the team, the narrative is he shouldn't be saying things like that to the media, regardless of whether he was just "telling the truth."

Greedy will be more Tiger than you’ll ever be.

That's a bullshite statement. Anyone that graduated from LSU is every bit as much a Tiger as Greedy. Because someone didn't play for the football team for three years does not make them any more or less a Tiger than someone who did.
