I hiked to the bottom and then another mile to a ranch. It truly is unbelievable. Viewing from the top will leave you in awe, but the sheer vastness of it as you hike down is hard to even imagine. We kept thinking "ok, we are almost to the Colorado River, this feels like the bottom". Then we would round a corner and it would drop another 1,000 feet and the topography would completely change. Unreal.
